Full Stack Engineer

About the role:

PiXLSIGN is currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Full-Stack Engineer who will help us maintain existing products as well as bring the new products into fruition all the way from planning to final implementation. This individual will be knowledgeable in the entire stack and understand how the data flows from low-level data layer all the way to different APIs and on the different clients. Proficiency in working with modern frameworks to build the backbone of dynamic web applications is a must. The individual will be passionate about code and development efficiency, optimization, meaningful documentation, and testing. The individual must also be passionate about the customer’s user experience and provide meaningful input, direction and coordination across the team to ensure we’re building the right thing for the customer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Write, review and maintain web-based applications
• Document the applications you work on
• Bringing products to fruition from planning to implementation
• Collaborate with other engineers to get the job done
• Work with QA to test and release project features

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years’ minimum experience developing advanced back-end code & REST APIs
• 1-3 years’ minimum experience developing advanced front-end code

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience building back-end web applications / REST APIs using modern frameworks like Laravel, Django, Express, or similar
• Experience building front end web applications using modern frameworks like Vue.js, React, or similar
• Proficiency in Git version control and build processes
• Worked in a Scrum / Agile environment
• Comfortable working within Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience with inherited projects and troubleshooting
